The Truth About eBay alternative sites

If you are looking for an alternative to eBay, there is no need to search the internet for a long time to find new sites that claim to be the next eBay. Many sellers who have been on eBay for years looking for an alternative to eBay to fight strange new "rules" and change. But they make a mistake in their search for a new site to sell their items.

And as for the other auction sites? Let me be blunt ... forget. Except for some niche auction sites like etsy.com, specializing in handmade products, there is another auction site that gets traffic or buyers as eBay. The truth is sometimes hard to hear, but you have to eBay a lot more than they need you.

The truth is that buyers go to eBay. If you ask most buyers if they have heard the latest controversy will almost always be a blank stare. Buyers do not care if you have problems as a seller. They are not going to be with you in a boycott, or follow some obscure new auction site.

So why are these new auction sites eBay is not a good alternative? Well, to be precise, do not have traffic buyer. The sellers of these sites are more numerous buyers. I can not understand why these auction sites latest marketing spend so much time to the sellers, when what they need are customers. If you spend all of their advertising budgets to attract buyers, sellers would have followed in droves. But, as of this writing, there is no other auction site on the Internet that can be compared to the traffic of eBay. There are also several sites that get more traffic than eBay, however.

You must think like a buyer. What do buyers want? Because they are attracted to eBay? The selection is the most important reason. Buyers want a wide choice of products to search and buy. They also want to be on a site they know and trust.

If you have been a seller on eBay for some time, we used the auction format, so naturally you are looking for another auction site. This is a big mistake, because at this time, there is not one worth trying. Need to set out the sales. You need to go to sites that get traffic loads. Think like a salesperson, not an auctioneer. Your goal is to sell your stuff to people who want to buy them.

UPDATE: When I wrote this article in 2008, Amazon was the best choice for eBay sellers to migrate and is still a wonderful place to sell. Amazon's traffic continues to rise with each passing month, while eBay continues to go lower. When looking for a place to sell, you want to look for traffic. This is your first priority.

Your second priority is to be independent. I do not want to be dependent on a site or source of income anymore. So look at Amazon, and begin to sell not the right way if you can, but you need to do other things.

Since 2008, some wonderful things have happened to many previous eBay PowerSellers and small vendors as well. These were people who worked so hard building their eBay activities only to come down around them-not their fault. Many of these men gave chase and find the next eBay, and instead, they built real online business. Not just a stream of income, but many. And this is how not to be dependent on another site yet. It 's also a way to explode your profits online that you never could do on eBay.

But if you just left eBay or Amazon wants to leave early and perhaps not for you, where you go for the real information and who do you trust to help you? ......
