Security Risk Management

How can it help me and my company?

Risk management is always evolving and increasingly important in today's climate and in the future.
It is possible that a small or large, you can perform a function or other special event.

Whatever you are doing and wherever you are, the risk is all around you.

Imagine a world without state or your security risk management. Look at your city and take out all the security systems, key pads, security staff, police, army reserves, insurance, cameras, security barriers, stop lights, auto security systems, passwords, bank street lighting, procedures safety, and codes, doors etc. that the block

What do we have? How could we live without it?

In this short article, I have an example of risk management, and the importance of a good security risk management.

Security Risk Management in business is all about putting the correct safety procedures / policies in place now, and planning for the future.

Think of a circle

The flat line represents a business with little or no management of safety risk.

However, the circle represents the complete and thorough and proper planning for the future.

The flat line is open, honorable and open to the elements, things can fall or jump up and there is an end and no future. The line is venerable to poor communication, misunderstandings, security breaches, possible internal theft, and theft site from external sources.

However, the circle is complete, secure and impregnable. It has a future and everything is tied into its organization. Management and staff are confident and understand the security organizations aims and objectives.

How does your company or activity forthcoming to compare?

Think you have a flat line, half circle, a circle with a segment still missing, or a full circle?
How did the job to become a flat line of a circle?

The flat line found that after a security risk analysis was conducted, were inefficient, not guaranteed, has had any problems with liability insurance and needed an immediate change.

The flat line implemented security procedures and policies that have managed these risks and threats identified.

In this example, the flat line implemented the procedures of identification, sign in / out, management and safety procedures of record keeping, communication between the various groups and teams and security controls that could be carried out once a year. The flat line ensured that the procedures for evacuating the building security, political, and security personnel both internal and external have been complete.

Regular meetings were conducted with groups and teams that focused on the management of security risks, and management of business risk.

However, after all this work was not a square a circle.

There was a complete flow, and communication still needs some improvement if they were to obtain the goal of a complete circle.

How do you reach a circle?

By continuing to familiarize yourself with all procedures and policies, security updates and education that have just been put in place.

Continuing to be diligent, motivational, and dedicated to the management of security risks correctly and completely.
