The Land of Eternal Guatemala Unemployment

In my country, Guatemala is sad and disturbing reaching the age of 35 years, many companies do not want people in this age in their ranks, because the policies of the companies consider a person age 35 and older less productive because they are guided believe that a youth has a better appearance and can maintain a lower wage than a person with experience.

When you enter a bank of our country watch the people who work as cashiers receivers, you will find that most are young or young ladies who do not exceed 30 years and in some other places you will notice that only women who serve .

The problem continues to grow with each passing year, thousands of men and women who graduate to medium, not including those who graduate from college. When leaving a vacancy are thousands of people who come hoping to be hired, but often what prevails is commonly cronyism or as we say in good clog the famous neck, if you have this requirement it is easier to get the work.

A few weeks ago there was a job fair and were thousands of men and women of different ages that gathered in that place, however there were very few elected or chosen.

The government does nothing to resolve this situation and always tries to cover the sun with a finger.

The question then arises: Will people over the age limit, ie over 35 years, must die of hunger or otherwise commit crime to support his family?

A few months ago talking to a good estubo childhood friend who now lives and works in the United States, where he has since hired a staff and has told me that is not permitted by law to a person asking questions about their age , religion, marital status and so on. should be based solely on their experience, what you think, that if democracy.

I believe the government should implement in their business-focused polĂtcas, reduce taxes certain percentage of companies that hire people over 35 years could be a hint to be taken into account.
